Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Sunita created her Phoenix programme after going through a personally difficult 5-year period, coming out on the other side much stronger for all the adversity she had been forced to face. She likened herself to the mythical phoenix bird, a symbol of the power of regeneration, able to heal itself from any wound and even bring itself back to life. It was during this time that Sunita identified a gap in support for survivors of domestic abuse after they had managed to leave their harmful relationship. Knowing that she had the experience as a life coach and as a survivor, plus the extra skillset that 20+ years in global corporate roles had provided, Sunita was clear that closing this gap was exactly where she needed to be.
Her work ethic, along with her ability to interact and engage easily with people on a personal level, makes her the perfect, trustworthy partner for survivors. They can recover with strength as they create their strategic steps towards a happy life post-abuse.
A strong communicator, Sunita coaches and mentors through 1:1 sessions, group workshops, presentations and seminars as well as sharing her knowledge through media touchpoints to raise awareness on domestic violence, abuse and toxic relationships. “There is a saying that ‘knowledge is king’ and that is certainly crucial if there is to be positive change,” she says.
A breath of fresh air in the dark world of domestic violence and abuse, Sunita is always well researched, passionate in her support and incredibly approachable. Always welcoming for a call to chat through where she can help to support or collaborate with you.

The Phoenix is a bird from Ancient Greek folklore. The legend stated that when its time was up, every 500 years, it would die and then be reborn in a blaze of fire. With great power the Phoenix would shoot majestically up and out from the flames, powerful and with purpose. Left behind would be the ashes of its past. In 500 years this would repeat again, making the Phoenix immortal.

TO HELP MEN AND WOMEN TO ENJOY LIFE, FREE AND SAFE FROM HARM AND ABUSE.
I facilitate survivors of toxic relationships and domestic abuse to embrace a fulfilling future by equipping them with essential coping techniques. I help to cultivate strategic steps needed to achieve their full potential and excel in the life they deserve. Together, we always begin with a re-set to start over, which essentially connects emotional and practical needs. My recovery support includes being a mentor, coach, speaker and author, inspiring strong and lasting personal development for the survivor and their family.
I hold no judgement. I find that a two-way approach to truthfulness brings about a valuable, mutual trust with respect. Being more grounded in this way is essential for delivering the results you are seeking to achieve.
I STRONGLY FEEL THAT THESE VALUES CAN ENABLE A SURVIVOR TO ACHIEVE THIS TOO. THEY ALL GO HAND-IN-HAND TOWARDS RECOVERING FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE OR TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS IN ORDER TO LEAD A SAFE AND HAPPY LIFE.
Through gentle wisdom I give encouragement to coax out the inner courage and strength that you hold and together we tailor a journey of empowerment and release. We learn to regulate this power and work with any boundaries.
Becoming a survivor can be very lonely and overwhelming. Help and support can seem out of reach or non-existent. I believe in having a clear presence to be seen and be accessible to all who need my support.
A promise of transformation needs a holistic approach that extends beyond the individual. It needs to include other family members (the children), the environment and needs to challenge existing laws and legislations. Without change things cannot be better. Without getting better we cannot celebrate life.

I can get into more detail when we agree on which style works best for you, so in brief:
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions. I wholly understand that you have already been through enough of an ordeal and you do not need any additional worry about safety or privacy. Within groups, there is always the option of anonymity. You are in a positive and secure space when working with me.
Also called a Discovery Session or Initial Consultation, this is a complimentary call, usually half an hour, where you and I 'discover' more about each other. I can learn more about your current situation or challenge and you can find out more about how I can support with that... or if someone or something else might be a better fit. There is NO expectation to commit to anything, but the caller will always leave with something useful for his or her next steps.
The time that your programme will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your journey. We agree everything up front together in our initial consultation and with regular check-ins we will always be on top of any necessary change.
I can work with people all around the globe, so long before we had Lockdown, coaching was already being done via phone and video links. As Covid restrictions ease, you can look forward to face to face opportunities, exclusive retreats and hear me speak in person. I am always available in the meantime for audio or video speaking requests.
